Pulling a Cat out of the Bag…

As I sat down one afternoon with not much work to do, I decided to start a blog. I looked up how to start one and found wordpress.com. After downloading the app, I began the grueling task of creating an account, choosing a domain, deciding on a title, crafting a description, and updating the About page. And if this was not enough, I was looking at the most difficult task, WHAT SHOULD I WRITE ABOUT????

I’ve always wondered what motivates people to start a blog and publish it. In my case, I just wanted to stimulate my brain and combat the never-ending boredom since I did not have much to do, I mean…. I do have a million things, but not at the moment.

After spending 20 minutes wresting with the app, I still couldn’t figure out what to write about. Considering the title of my blog, “A Bag Full of Cats,” I did have plenty of cats in my mind.

I decided to put my hand inside the bag and pull out a cat. Here were my options, Should I rant about the overwhelming presence of Health and Nutrition experts that fill my feed of YouTube shorts. It’s fascinating how they have reasons and evidence and studies to justify eating or not eating anything and everything, (They almost convinced me that water might be the worst thing I am putting in my body and smoking cigarettes was better than eating fries !!!), or should I write about my current obsession of listening to these Para SF (Special Forces) guys on podcast or write about Rory Sutherlands incredible takes on Marketing or if Pep Guardiola should extend his contract with Manchester City beyond next season.

As I was contemplating what to write about, I realized that I had written quite a long blurb on deciding what to write, which seemed surprisingly appropriate as my first blog.

All in all, if you made it this far and still don’t have any idea of what I am talking about, don’t worry, I don’t either.
